Home Services — Acquisitions & Operations
I buy and operate home service businesses — plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. I've scaled three of them myself, from the truck and the dispatch board up. If you're an owner thinking about your next chapter, I'd like to hear about your business.
The record
Each of these I built or ran myself — not as a passive investor, but in the business, day to day, until it was ready for what came next.
Built the company organically, scaling revenue from zero to $10M. Exited.
Scaled a water filtration company from zero to $5M in revenue. Exited.
Grew the company from zero to $30M in revenue, then merged it into Lee's Air in an all-stock transaction. Merged 2024.
2nd-largest shareholder and board member of a $130M platform generating $17M in EBITDA, operating across four states. Operating.
Lee's Air, recognized on the Inc. 5000 list.
With Tom Howard, majority owner of Lee's Air, at ServiceTitan Pantheon 2024.
The platform
California Efficiency Group, the plumbing company I spent four years building in Los Angeles, merged into Lee's Air in 2024 in an all-stock deal. I sit on the board today as the second-largest shareholder, working alongside majority owner Tom Howard, and Lee's Air has since been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies.
It's the clearest example of how I operate: build a company properly, find the right larger platform for it, and stay close to the outcome rather than cashing out and moving on.
Thinking about selling?
I'm not a fund flipping a portfolio for a quick multiple. I've run dispatch boards, technician pay plans, and permit headaches myself. When I acquire a company, I keep it running the way that made it worth buying.
Every deal I've done started as a direct conversation, not a broker's pitch deck. If you own one of these businesses and you're even considering what's next, that's reason enough to talk.
No obligation, no pressure — just an honest conversation with someone who's operated exactly what you're building.
